The Aeneas Suite is a retreat and feast for the eyes: two luxurious and colorful bedrooms, a private sitting room, and unique views of the Tuscan landscape. These bedrooms, Aeneas I and Aeneas II, are rented together to provide an ideal family suite or, depending on your wants and desires, the entire two-bedroom suite can be rented by just one couple looking for more space and privacy. Please ask our reservations concierge for special pricing for one couple.
Aeneas I celebrates the history of our village with original, wood-beamed ceilings, thick ancient stone walls, hardwood floors and re-purposed, ancient artifacts from the Tuscan countryside, such as shelving made from a feeding trough for cattle. Here we added a king-size, custom-built bed and cozy sitting area with a unique corner couch and desk, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a rainfall shower, travertine sink and heated towel racks. The Aeneas I offers a view of the rolling hills of the forests of Bosco dei Rocconi, as well as, the reclaimed shadows of Castiglioncello del Trinoro in our archaeological garden.
Aeneas II boasts colorful walls, wood-beamed ceilings and natural wood floors. The hand-crafted, king-size bedframe is the centerpiece of this room and typical of well-appointed bedrooms from the Renaissance. The en-suite bathroom boasts a rainfall shower, travertine sink and heated towel racks. The views of the piazza and the archaeological gardens of Castiglioncello del Trinoro complete the atmosphere.
The comfortable living room between the Aeneas rooms is ideal for unwinding with a book or sipping a glass of wine. Although rarely needed, the Aeneas suite includes central air conditioning for the occasional summer day when the natural breezes and high altitude do not provide adequate comfort.
