String Quartet

One of the rising Italian string quartets, born at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. After graduating in Hannover, the four musicians, Eleonora Matsuno, Jamiang Santi, Francesca Turcato, and Cosimo Carovani, embarked on an important international career playing in Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Sweden, Holland, and Italy.

Quartetto Indaco
Founded in 2007 at the Scuola di Musica in Fiesole under the impulse of Piero Farulli and Andrea Nannoni, the Quartetto Indaco won the special prize “Jeunesses Musicales” at the International Competition “Paolo Borciani 2014” and was among the finalists in 2017. Invited by prestigious festivals and musical institutions in Italy (I Concerti del Quirinale with live broadcasting on Rai Radio3, Musica nel Tennis for Società del Quartetto in Milan, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto), the Quartet regularly performs also in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Portugal and the Netherlands. Numerous the collaborations with musicians of international renown, including Bruno Canino, Avi Avital, Davide Formisano, Julian Bliss, Valentin Erben. Upcoming noteworthy engagements include concerts in Mantua, Brussels, Nuoro and at the Festival “Paesaggi Musicali Toscani” in San Quirico d’Orcia, followed by the debuts at the Stradivari Festival in Cremona and at Unione Musicale in Torino. The Quartetto Indaco is just about to record two new albums, both released in 2020.
