Hands On Learning
The Culinary Academy at Monteverdi
The Culinary Academy features a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen, individual modules for up to 12 students, as well as indoor and outdoor dining space so that each class can comfortably and immediately enjoy the fruits of learning. Located just below Castiglioncello’s piazza, the Culinary Academy has been infused into one of the village’s beautiful historic buildings that served for nearly two centuries as a school for the local children.
Cooking Classes
Learn to master a three course meal that uses the freshest ingredients from the Tuscan countryside to make seasonal appetizers, a variety of pastas with classic Tuscan sauces and dolce. Or experience the art of cheese making by transforming the freshest milk from a local farm into a primo sale and ricotta. Dry pastas and Tuscan sauces are also part of the cooking class repertoire.
Classes are every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from 11:00am-12:30pm and are followed by lunch.
Chef's Table
An interactive dinner brings together the finest seasonal ingredients within an intimate, communal format. Experience a five-course dinner paired with a curated selection of wines each Tuesday from 7:30-10:30 pm.
Private Dining
Let our culinary team arrange a private dining experience that immerses you and your guests in Tuscan culinary tradition. Enjoy a beautiful meal in our intimate dining room or move outside and dine while taking in stunning views of the Val d’Orcia.
