About Filippo Gorini

At only 27 years of age, Filippo Gorini’s strong artistic personality has led him to receive the “Premio Abbiati” as best soloist of the year 2022, the most prestigious musical recognition in Italy, as well as the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award in 2020 and First Prize at the Telekom Beethoven Competition in 2015. Since then, he has performed extensively on prestigious stages such as Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Berlin Konzerthaus, Vienna Konzerthaus, Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, London Wigmore Hall, Società del Quartetto di Milano, Parco della Musica in Rome, La Fenice Theatre in Venice, Ravello Festival, Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, Zurich Tonhalle, Van Cliburn Foundation, and the Vancouver Recital Society. In 2023, he will make his debut at the LAC Lugano, Teatro Municipal de Santiago in Chile, Aichi Arts Theatre in Nagoya in Japan and the San Carlo Theatre in Naples and will also return to, among others, the Schubertiade Festival in Austria and the Bonn Beethovenhaus. Filippo’s albums featuring Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations, “Hammerklavier” and op. 111 sonatas, released on Alpha Classics, have garnered critical acclaim, including a Diapason d’Or Award and 5-star reviews on The Guardian, BBC Music Magazine, Le Monde, to name a few. Filippo’s artistic development is supported by the mentorship of Maria Grazia Bellocchio, Pavel Gililov, Alfred Brendel and Mitsuko Uchida.
