Music & Art
Be Taken by Passion
Art inspires. It evokes emotion. It takes you to a place that is transformative, be it the opera, a painting, or a single note from a violin. It fires our senses. It connects us to our humanity.
That is why throughout the year, we host concerts by world class musicians and singers, exhibits by internationally recognized artists, lectures from renowned thinkers, and more, in a 700 year old church, in open gardens, in galleries, and other welcoming spaces. The ticket fee? An open mind and a desire to cultivate.
We do what Tuscany always has. Inspire the heart and mind with world class art. Art that takes you to a new appreciation of beauty.

Intimate and Inspired Performances
The 2023 Concert Series
Every year, as part of our Monteverdi Music and Arts Program, we invite internationally acclaimed performing artists to stay at the property and share their talents. This year Monteverdi is again proud to host many concerts by the best musicians and singers in the world.
A founding philosophy of the hotel is that beauty, art and music are fundamental to our nature as human beings. The evolution of the human thought and imagination misers the development of the art in the world. The arts make us more alive, passionate and compassionate, wiser, thoughtful and happier. Without art we are not fully human.
Because of this philosophy we named our angolo di mondo after Claudio Monteverdi 1567-1643), a genius who changed the course of music by inventing the modern opera. His impact on humanity is comparable to that of other remarkable geniuses who lived contemporaneously with him - Galileo (1564-1642), Shakespeare (1564-1613) and Caravaggio (1571-1610).
This concert series, inspired by our namesake, has been a part of our passion project and mission from inception.
