Art Gallery Talk with Monster Chetwynd

Monster Chetwynd was the first artist-in-residence at Monteverdi. She will discuss her practice at large, including the paintings she made on site during her residency, where she used the chapel as a studio. She will discuss how she moves from large-scale performances involving large numbers of performers, to small and personal oil paintings.  Chetwynd’s works are on view in the gallery exhibition “Wash the Sins, Not Only the Face”.
