Piano solo performance by Emanuele Arciuli.

With a repertoire that ranges from Bach to the music of our time, he is a regular guest at some of the most prestigious international festivals, orchestras and musical institutions: Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Amici della Musica in Florence, Unione Musicale in Turin, GOG Genoa, IUC in Rome, Bologna Festival, Biennale di Venezia, Wien Modern, Berliner Festwochen, RedCats in Los Angeles, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.

Emanuele Arciuli is considered among the greatest interpreters of 20th and 21st century music, with particular reference to American composers: there are more than fifty pages composed for him by composers such as George Crumb, Milton Babbitt, Frederic Rzewski, Michael Nyman, Michael Daugherty, and John Luther Adams. Many of his recording projects are dedicated to American composers: “round Midnight – Homage to Thelonious Monk (Stradivarius) and “Walk in Beauty” (Innova Recording) a rich anthology of American music that earned a Grammy Award nomination. He recently published for Neuma “The time curves preludes” by William Duckworth. In addition, his pamphlet “Journey to America” (Curci) continues to generate considerable interest, contributing to a deeper understanding of American music. In 2011 he was awarded the Italian music critics’ prize “Franco Abbiati” as the best soloist of the year.
