Piano solo performance
Elia Cecino is a recent first prize winner at the Iturbi International Piano Competition 2023 in Valencia. In 2020, Suonare Records released his debut CD with music by Beethoven, Chopin and Scriabin and a second monographic album on Chopin from OnClassical. His 2021 and 2023 recitals at the Cappella Paolina of the Quirinale Palace were broadcast live on Rai Radio 3.
He has performed as soloist with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice, Israel Philharmonic, Israel Camerata Jerusalem, Louisiana Philharmonic, Simfònica del Vallès, Sinfónica de Galicia, Orquesta de València, Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, and many more.
In addition to studying the solo repertoire, Elia has an intense chamber music activity in duo, trio and quintet with strings. In December 2020 he collaborated with cellist Mario Brunello on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth.
