The living bellezza

Music & Art

Inspired by our namesake, the Renaissance humanist and composer Claudio Monteverdi, the music, arts and culture programming at Monteverdi has been part of our love affair with this landscape since the beginning.

The breathtaking Val d'Orcia has inspired humans to create art for millennia, from the Etruscans to Renaissance masters to the present day. We hope that in witnessing the work of our resident artists and scholars, our guests will be invigorated and moved by the beauty of the human spirit.

Wander exhibitions from exceptional international artists in the art gallery, unwind with a sunset jazz concert in our lounge, and enjoy intimate performances from world-class musicians in our restored 14th century church, the Chiesa di Sant’Andrea.

The 2027 Concert Series will be posted on December 1, 2027.
