Giulia Mazzola (soprano)
Born in Palermo, she joined the treble voices choir of her city’s Conservatory at a very young age. In 2016, she took part in the Spoleto Competition and from this moment on, she began to assert herself in important international opera competitions, always finishing among the top places, as well as at the Toti dal Monte in the 2021 edition where she won the role of Norina in Don Pasquale. Noteworthy engagements include: Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera and Micaela in Carmen at the theatre in Spoleto conducted by Marco Angius; Regina della Notte in Die Zauberflöte for Europa Incanto on tour in Italy; Serpina ne La Serva Padrona and Cherie in Paisiello’s Il duello comico at the Massimo in Palermo; Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro in Beirut with the Lebanon Philharmonic Orchestra.
Marianna Tongiorgi (piano)
Winner of more than 25 national and international competitions, in 2012 she was awarded 2nd prize in the “Chopin” international piano competition in Rome. As an accompanist pianist, she has worked for 5 years at the Martini Conservatory in Bologna and for 10 years at the Academy Foundation in Imola. As a piano accompanist, she has been convened at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Accademia Filarmonica in Bologna, the Fondazione Arturo Toscanini in Parma, at the Galway Flute Festival 2024 and has accompanied master classes of distinguished international musicians. She has given concerts as a soloist and with internationally renowned musicians such as Alberto Navarra, Clarissa Bevilacqua, Luna Vigni, Andrea Manco, Andrea Oliva, Claudio Montafia, Michele Marasco, Giovanni Mareggini, Fabrizio Meloni, Giovanni Picciati, Nikita Zimin, Federico Mondelci, Anders Paulsson, Sandro Compagnon and David Salleras. She is regularly invited to juries of Italian music competitions.
